Q: What is a Digitizer? Is it similar to an Oscilloscope?
A: Digitizer is a card inserted into a computer that can peform all the functions of a bench oscilloscope and provides additional flexibility and integration into many applications.
Q: What type of software is provided with the product? A: Full software suite, including a fully functional Scope Application is included with all digitizers. Microsoft Windows XP 32 bit, Windows Vista 32 bit, Windows Server 2008 32 bit are supported. Linux drivers are provide on a case by case for OEM customers.
Q: What sampling rates are available?
A: The high end digitizers are capable of sampling at a native rate of 3 GHz. On-board interpolation allows us up to 12 GHz of sampling.
Q: What is the maximum amount of memory available? A: On the newer boards, up to 2 GB of memory is avaiable as an add-on configuration. Lower sampling rate boards have 256 MB of memory on-board.
Q: What bus interfaces are supported? A: The newer Express boards use PCI Express Interface. Other boards require a PCI interface.

Q: Is support for LabVIEW available? A: Standard software suite includes NI's LabVIEW 8.5x project VI files with basic interface to the hardware and scope functionality. You can customize these VIs to suit your application needs.
Q: Is Digitizer software compatbible with Windows 7? A: Acquisition Logic digitizer software (drivers and application are compatible with Microsoft Windows 7 32 bit Operating System.
